With extensive experience beginning at Sotheby’s in London as a member of the Coin and Medal Department, Ms. Weingast was named Director of that department at Sotheby’s offices in New York where she appraised major collections, wrote catalogs and planned auctions in New York, Canada and Europe. As president of Beth Weingast Appraisals, Ms. Weingast appraises coins, religious arts, fine art, and jewelry.
Beth Weingast was presented the Belmont Award for Excellence from the Appraisers Association.
Beth Weingast is a Certified Member and past president of the Appraisers Association of America.
